To celebrate local heritage and our wonderful city's fascinating history, the children have all been involved in an exciting music and history project; to record their very own pop song!  The lyrics to the 80's smash hit 'We built this City' were re-written especially to include all things Stoke-on-Trent and 'Clay and Coal' was born.  The recording features all children in school and also some recordings from our choir, who had the chance to visit a local recording studio to record the song professionally.  The song takes all who sing and listen on a memorable journey into the heritage of Stoke-on-Trent, from the birth of the six towns to the humble but mighty oatcake.  We hope you enjoy the video and who knows, you may learn something about our amazing city that you didn't know before!
