The course includes communicating using radios and the phonetic alphabet, taking fingerprints, investigating crime scenes, road safety and understanding the work of the police.

PCSO's Charlotte and Natalie have also worked with the cadets to identify potential dangers they might encounter during the school holidays. 

The programme will run for six weeks before the cadets pass the course, whereby they will be presented with t-shirts, badges, certificates and caps.
