As an academy, we engaged in the 2024 British Science Week. The children were able to work scientifically and investigate many aspects and areas of science that focused on the theme- Time.

Some of the sessions our children took part in looked at: the life cycle of frogs and humans, future-scaping our school environment for local wildlife (this is a focus of our Eco Leadership Team); using the Sun (for a brief time!) to tell the time and stepping back millions of years to investigate the ancient Earth and the ultimate demise of the dinosuars. However, our Year 6 children are now questioning whether, after research, the dinosaurs really did 'completely' become extinct.
